Us 2016 renegade latitude 4x4 2.4l 9 speed black in black uconnect 5.0/ra2 with cold weather, passive entry, remote start, and 'popular equipment' groups (purchased nov 2 2016). I spoke with ram and they said it needed to be added during the build. You probably have to check the app settings on your device.
I love using the uconnect app to remotely start the car. Mopar has a kit for remote start i believe, just not sure if it will integrate with uconnect and allow remote start via one key fob or by the app. I purchased a 2020 rebel, which did not have the remote start at the time of the purchase.
Like uconnect, the app is lacking some features, and it’s not really pretty to look at; How it works uconnect access app: The uconnect app doesn’t work for my 2018 jgc, however this app does!

As far as the app and not having remote start, you could lock, unlock honk the horn i guess, but the remote start is the main feature here along with sending maps to the nav system. In addition, with the new remote functions, you will know where your car is and will be able to conveniently check its status via your smartphone. Just wish there was daily vehicle health reports love the app but would be more amazing if the app would provide daily at least twice or once a day a health report and what possible might need to be checked due to change of season before something seriously needs fixing.
